For some reason I have been sleeping like crap lately. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and just cannot go back to sleep. Last night I was watching the Sox game and fell asleep with NESN on. When I woke up, it was around 2-3 AM and this infomercial was on. Usually I would just change the channel, but this time was different. Something captivated me to keep watching and it had nothing to do with the millions I could make.

Yup, it was these 2 super smart business women telling me about the products that kept me tuned in. They were talking about some web business and how you can own 10 free websites and make all sorts of cash. Now, don’t get me wrong…there is no way in hell I was ever going to buy the product. What got me thinking was there are probably a ton of guys out there buying this product soley based on the fact that these 2 “well endowed” woman who are pretty attractive are telling them so. I mean, they must be making money if they can continue to run these productions on TV. Someone has to fall for it, right?
So I researched the company today and sure enough, there are a TON of complaints! I hate to say it, but the people have nobody to blame but themselves. If it was that good of a deal and had that much potential to make millions, wouldn’t it be advertised someone outside of 3am on NESN ?? Wouldn’t everyone do it?? If it were true and legit, don’t you think that Ed McMahon who is drowning in debt be the 1st one on the phone with his AMEX card in hand (if they haven’t cancelled it yet) to pay the $49.99 or whatever it is so he can make his millions? Even money hungry “rags to riches to rags” stars like K-Fed, Tori Spelling, M.C. Hammer and Booby Brown could borrow a few bucks to buy the program and get back to their lavish lifestyle ways.
But again, the sad truth is that people continue to buy into these scams to the tune of $4 Billion per year! I will even admit that about 2 years ago I purchased a Real Estate package from an infomercial to see how it worked. It was only like $99 and I do have my Real Estate license so I thought maybe it would give me some cool advantage into making money. I will say, it did have some information in it that could be helpful. It was packaged nice and I still have it to this day. I felt it was not a bad purchase as I could justify some of the tools it came with to help me in my side business. But then, I started getting charged $29.99 per month on my credit card. When I called to find out what it was, it was for “Coaching”. I was like, for what? I was told that when I signed up, I agreed to pay that fee to recieve calls from a coach who would help me make more money with the program. I let the lady know that I never agreed to it and that I have never recieved a call and wanted my money back. After checking to see that I had never been called, she did give me a credit and that was the end of it. But again, how many people do not notice it or even just agree to it figuring it is a small price to pay to make money?? People really think it is that easy!
I can tell you, it is not. If you think that these types of programs are the way to get yourself out of debt and into the lifestyles of the rich and famous, then you better be ready to become homeless because there is no hope! If 2 hot girls falling out of their tops is enough to make you invest into a scam, then you need give your credit cards to a friend as you are not making a logical decision. The only way to make money is to have a job! And hopefully a good one that will allow you to continue to sit at a desk and waste your day reading my blog!
There is no such thing as a get rich quick scam actually working…or am I wrong?
Have you ever bought into one? Did it work? Let me know your thoughts…maybe I am the idiot!
I can see what would make a guy want to give it a try. Afterall, I’m sure the girls on the infomercial come with the scam…I mean product!

I bought into a no money down program a few years back. It should’ve been called no money to be made as I tried it for a few months and made 0! The only one who made money was the company I bought it from! Never again!

Their names are Tina Milano and Kelly Britz. I did some research after reading this. I would never buy what they are selling, but would love to take them out for drinks and meet their “friends”!
